Summary
There are cases where harm intended for one person did not reach them because they were consistent in Qur’an, adhkar, and worship. In one anonymized pattern, the harm moved away from the intended target and affected someone more spiritually exposed.
The story is not a promise that a person who keeps adhkar will never be tested. It is a reminder that Allah has placed protection in the daily Sunnah.
The Lesson
Daily adhkar are not decorative. They are a shield by Allah’s permission. Morning and evening remembrance, Ayat al-Kursi, the last three surahs, istighfar, and the ordinary du`as of movement keep a person connected to Allah throughout the day.
If harm still occurs, that does not mean the adhkar failed or the person is bad. Allah tests His servants in many ways. The lesson is to keep the habit.
